The Hartland Historical Society is an all-volunteer organization and help from the community will ensure that the history of Hartland continues to be documented and maintained. Please consider joining us as a new member, renewing your membership or making a donation.

Become a Volunteer!

  • Help maintain the gardens and/or exhibits at the Gaylord House

  • Collect and document oral histories of local people with stories relating to town experiences

  • Develop ideas for and write articles for our newsletter

  • Support our social media efforts

  • Become a docent for the Gaylord House Museum – open one Sunday per month, May to October

  • Help manage our social events with refreshments and set up, or provide speaker and / or entertainment ideas

  • Anything from a few hours of your time to a larger role as a department chairperson are welcome!
